“ Absolutely loved this ramen spot! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I had the Tonkotsu Ramen and the Spicy Crab Ramen — both were rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The portions were generous, and everything was served piping hot. We finished the meal with the matcha ice cream, which was the perfect ending — creamy, not too sweet, and full of deep matcha flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back next time. Highly recommend! ”
“ String Ramen food is excellent as usual! I always order my favorite, Tonkotsu Ramen with Spicy Clams and Minced Pork. Their food and services never let me down! Today, I asked for some extra Menma (lacto-fermented bamboo shoots) that wasn't offered as side on the menu, but they kindly accommodated my request! The other side I ordered was Onsen Tamago (pouched egg but "hot spring" style). Excellent service. I had Mr. Lukman as my waiter and he was very kind, diligent, and fast! I highly recommend this restaurant when you have a chance to stop by Madison. Excuse me for not so great picture of the food, but don't let that fool you, it's top-notch ramen! Yum ”

“ My friends and I planned a trip here for lunch to try ramen for the first time. I had heard from many people that THIS was the place to go. Our server was very kind and helped to explain the menu. Once we were ready, we went ahead and placed our order. For an app, I started with the chicken gyoza. It was very tasty! Whatever sauce they had a In the bowl was very very good! As far as ramen, I went with the miso ramen and got the pork belly. I also added mushrooms and an egg to it. I just went for it! I was skeptical and nervous, since it was my first time trying ramen, but it was actually pretty good! Now thinking about it, I wish I would’ve added some heat to it. But I had left over sauce from the gyoza, and just added that to my ramen- which gave it the spice I was looking for! The portions are big! You get a large bowl of ramen. Not a lot of protein though, so if you’re protein hungry, you should consider adding more. Overall it was very good, perfect for a cold cold day! I will be back! ”

“ Love this place ! The staff who are from Indonesia are so warm and welcoming , which is much needed in a cold ass city like Madison. Shout out to the manager and Indra my server ! Having lived in Japan, this ramen is close to authentic. I highly recommend the Shoyu Buta Ramen for that fatty pork belly — yum! Also, try the Sasa Dango! this Redbean filled mochi treat is perfect right after your ramen to satisfy that sweet tooth. ”
